Founded in 2009, Westward IT has grown steadily to become the preferred supplier of IT products and services to companies across Devon, North Cornwall and West Somerset.
Having firstly acquired the client base of Southern and West Solutions in August 2012, another Devon-based consultancy – BlueWave IT services – transferred its’ client base to Westward IT in December 2012 and continual organic growth through to the present day has resulted in Westward IT now being recognised as the premier supplier to over 150 business, educational and charitable organisations across the South West.
Meet the team
Mike started his professional career as an in-store technical manager for a major retailer before moving to a precision engineering firm. Latterly Mike played a key role in IT for a UK based glass manufacturer which included work as a software engineer working on manufacturing production systems.
Roy started his IT career over 20 years ago working for the Police for 18 years providing IT support. Roy is now responsible for project management, PC and server support in addition to day-to-day first-line support.
Ben has over 10 years experience in the IT industry, he started his career as a network administrator before moving to a local secondary school to head-up IT support. Ben's role sees him working on project planning and deployment, as well as day-to-day first-line support.
Working alongside the rest of the team, Sue is responsible for our finance, personnel and administrative functions. Sue has 20 years of administrative experience gained during several roles in the medical, corporate relocation and telecommunications industry. Sue is the first point of contact for all clients.
In addition to our full time staff, we engage a number of consultants who work with us on a project-by-project basis, enhancing our core skills and providing specialist advice and guidance in areas such as data encryption and security, VoIP, e-Commerce, payment processing and CCTV systems.

85% of issues can be resolved over the phone or by remote access within the hour and if required an engineer can be onsite within 4 hours. We offer Fixed Fee or Pay as You Go Support.
Ticket Support System
We understand exactly how important support is to our customers. Our ticket system allows us to investigate any issues and questions whilst letting you carry on with your life as normal – you’re not stuck on hold or queuing!
